TONY STEWART WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 2009 TO VISIT MACON
SPEEDWAY
MACON, IL (Sept 29) - One of the biggest nights of the 2008 racing season in
the Midwest was on the racing schedule not once but twice this year and
twice Mother Nature decided not to allow Tony Stewart’s Caterpillar Night of
NASCAR Stars III event to thrill the fans of Macon Speedway.
Due to the normal hectic schedule of our two time Nextel Cup Champion track
owner coupled with the fact of Tony Stewart starting a new racing team and
now being one of twelve Chase drivers vying for the 2008 Championship, we
were unable to find a suitable date for his return to Macon Speedway. We are
now currently working on dates for 2009 for his return. Macon Speedway will
refund the ticket price of all tickets purchased for the Night of NASCAR
Stars III. Macon Speedway will start refunding the tickets on Monday,
September 24, 2008.
Anyone who purchased tickets will be asked to send in their tickets to Macon
Speedway at PO Box 170, Macon, IL 62544 with the full name and address of
the person who purchased the tickets and we will refund the ticket price.
