UMP Summer Nationals And Nascar Stars, Kenny Schrader & Kenny Wallace Set to Invade Kokomo Speedway, IN 

MACON, IL (July 2) - Race fans will be treated to a special UMP Late Model event at the Kokomo Speedway on Wednesday, July 14th. This event will mark stop 26 in the 28 date Summer Nationals Late Model Hell Tour. The Summer Nationals tour pays over three-quarters of a million dollars in prize money with Wednesday night’s winner taking home $6000 for their win. The UMP Summer Nationals tour has quickly become one of the most anticipated dirt Late Model tours in the nation that attracts talented drivers like Brian Shirley, Jeep Van Wormer, Rodney Melvin, Brian Birkhofer, Don O’Neal, Billy Moyer and Shannon Babb. In addition to the exciting UMP Late Model feature, the UMP Modified division will also hit the track. 

Nascar Stars Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace will be at the special night of racing at Kokomo Speedway to race with local heroes in their UMP Modifieds.  Schrader and Wallace will both be piloting UMP Modifieds sponsored by Federated Car Care.  Schrader will be in his #9 and Wallace will be driving his #36.  Both Nascar Stars will be on hand after the race is over to sign autographs for fans.  Don’t miss your chance to see the Nascar Stars and watch a thrilling night of races at Kokomo Speedway. 

  The O'Connor family owns and promotes the Kokomo Speedway located in Kokomo, Indiana and has a long history in operating race tracks in Illinois and Indiana. The O'Connor family and Track Enterprises have teamed up in order to bring this event to you at the Kokomo Speedway.   

Tickets for the event are as follows: adult tickets $20; children 12 & Under $5. Pit gates open at 4pm; Grandstands open at 4pm; practice at 6pm and the racing action starting at 7pm.  Pit passes will be $30.
