SPEEDWAY INCREASES WEEKLY MODIFIED
PURSE
PEORIA, IL (April 18, 2011) -
Peoria Speedway owner Curt Mottaz is pleased to announce a significant
increase in the weekly purse for the UMP Modified division, effective with
the April 23 UMP racing program. The winners’ share remains $600, but an
additional $1,125 has been added to positions 2 through 20, including a bump
in starting pay to $100. The changes have been made to keep the track
competitive with other tracks running UMP Modifieds on a weekly basis.
