Mother Nature Forces Cancellation of POWRi Debut at Macon Speedway MACON, IL (April 23, 2011) - The anticipation of the Midgets and Micros racing at Macon Speedway will have to continue. Due to the weather, the races have been canceled. We have rescheduled the POWRi Series to race on May 14. There will be a full show of racing next Saturday night with gates opening at 5 and races starting at 7. Next weekend Macon Speedway with the help of the Teacher’s Lounge located at 2828 N Main St Ste 101 Decatur, IL will present teacher appreciation night where all teachers with ID will be admitted into the races for free. The Easter Bunny will also be in attendance, High school hornets will be making their debut for 2011 on the 30 as well.
