MACON SPEEDWAY HOSTS FIRST NASCAR NIGHT OF THE SEASON THIS MONDAY 

MACON, IL (May 28, 2011) - Macon Speedway has an action packed Memorial Day for race fans.  On Monday come to the track for our Bully Dog Night of NASCAR Stars I presented by Contingency Connection featuring track owners Kenny Schrader, Kenny Wallace and NASCAR star and local hero Justin Allgaier.  Track officials are working long hours to prepare the track for the huge Memorial Day race.  

The Northern Allstar Late Model Series will race for $2000 to win along with the Billingsley Towing Modified and Street Stock divisions.  The fans will have the chance to meet and greet the NASCAR Stars with an autograph session from 4:30 to 5:30.  NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Justin Allgaier is in 5th place with only 18 points separating him from being the point’s leader.  Macon Speedway is proud to have Bully Dog as a sponsor for 2011 and we have designated three events for the Bully Dog Triple Crown Series.  NASCAR star Ken Schrader picked up his second win a row at the 58th Hoosier Hundred which took place this past Friday in Indianapolis ant the Indiana State Fairgrounds.  Kenny Wallace is excited to be coming to the track for the first time in 2011.  The first will be our Memorial Day special followed by our Bully Dog Night of Nascar Stars II on June 28.  The third event will be the Family Farmers Night/Bully Dog Triple Crown Finale.  There will be contingencies available to our drivers at the end of the Bully Dog Triple Crown Series courtesy of Bully Dog.   Grandstands will open at 3 pm: with racing beginning at 6 pm. 

Don’t miss the Miller Lite Beer Twin 50’s on June 11 for 2 - 50 lap features, one for the Chevrolet Late Models and the other for the Billingsley Towing Modified.  Our second night of NASCAR stars on June 28 will feature track owners Tony Stewart, Kenny Schrader, Kenny Wallace and Daytona 500 winner; Trevor Bayne.     

Bring your family Monday night to watch the Northern Allstars light up Macon Speedway.  Kids 11 & under will be $5 and adult seats will be $20.
