Brett Meyer Wins SportMod Feature on Opening Night at BVR

ANKENY, IA (April 28) – On the opening night at Buena Vista Raceway – Alta Iowa, Brett Meyer drove his Team Harris / GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine powered IMCA Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod to victory, winning the first IMCA Northern SportMod feature event of season, on opening night at the Buena Vista Raceway. In addition to the Feature winning pay out, Meyer will also receive a $100 “Award Certificate” from IMCA Northern SportMod Title Sponsor, Karl Chevrolet.

Meyers win will add his name to the list of drivers earning 2008 feature event wins in IMCA, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod competition utilizing the GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine. Other wins have come from Brett Moffitt (I-80, NE Speedway), Chris Abelson (Park Jefferson, SD Speedway), and Luke Wanninger (Marshalltown, IA Speedway). The GM Performance Parts 602 crate engine continues to answer the call, providing the necessary power and reliability to get the job done.

In addition to their IMCA SportMod Title Sponsorship, Karl Chevrolet also awards any IMCA SportMod competitor who wins a feature event using a GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine purchased through Karl Chevrolet, with a contingency “Award Certificate” valued at $100.

“Winners of the Award Certificates can come into the dealership and use it to purchase parts, items from our Pro Shop, GM Accessories – they can even use it to toward the purchase price of a new vehicle,” states Carl Moyer, owner of Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny, IA.
