Brett Meyer Wins SportMod Feature on Opening Night at BVR ANKENY, IA (April 28) – On the opening night at Buena Vista Raceway – Alta Iowa, Brett Meyer drove his Team Harris / GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine powered IMCA Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod to victory, winning the first IMCA Northern SportMod feature event of season, on opening night at the Buena Vista Raceway. In addition to the Feature winning pay out, Meyer will also receive a $100 “Award Certificate” from IMCA Northern SportMod Title Sponsor, Karl Chevrolet. Meyers win will add his name to the list of drivers earning 2008 feature event wins in IMCA, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod competition utilizing the GM Performance Parts 602 Crate Engine. Other wins have come from Brett Moffitt (I-80, NE Speedway), Chris Abelson (Park Jefferson, SD Speedway), and Luke Wanninger (Marshalltown, IA Speedway). The GM Performance Parts 602 crate engine continues to answer the call, providing the necessary power and reliability to get the job done.
