Karl Chevrolet DTRA Series Shares Card with Late Models Tuesday at the Marshalltown Speedway ANKENY, IA (June 9) – The Karl Chevrolet DTRA Series will share the racing card with the Derry Brothers Late Model Series this Tuesday night at the Marshalltown Speedway, Marshalltown, Iowa. For the Dirt Trucks, Tuesday’s race will mark the second of several expanded purse races that are scheduled for 2008. The purse will be 1. 2,000, 2. 1,000, 3. 500, 4. 250, 5. 215, 6. 185, 7. 150, 8. and on out 100. This purse also reflects a minimum 100 dollars to start that was approved by the DTRA Board of Directors for all away races during the 2008 season. The first expanded purse event for the Karl Chevrolet sponsored DTRA Series was held last Friday night at the Knoxville Raceway, Knoxville, Iowa. Tony Moro raced to his second victory of the 2008 season followed by Carl Moyer, Matt Moro, Lou Sipolt and Ed Nelson rounded out the top five. The win for Moro makes him the first two time feature winner of the season and represents the fourth win of six events for a truck powered by the GM Performance Parts 604 Crate Engine.
