USMTS driver Bagley featured in July issue of Dirt Modified Magazine

INDEPENDENCE, IA (June 11) – As the July 2010 issue of Dirt Modified Magazine hits the newsstand, race fans will find popular USMTS driver Morgan Bagley inside the pages as writer Ashlee Sieveke introduces readers to the up-and-coming Longview, Texas, driver who turned 24 years old yesterday on June 10.

Every week, you read about racers setting new records, recording victories and winning championships. What criteria do you use to define a Dirt Modified driver as successful? In the case of Morgan Bagley, his major achievements are not necessarily what statistics he has recorded behind the wheel of the racecar, but the drive that got him there.

“My whole family was big into racing,” he said. “My dad raced from the time he got out of college, then he quit the year he had me. He bought a race track (Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas) when I was four, and I always hung out there. My cousins and my uncles raced - it was a whole family deal.”

If there was any chance of Bagley straying from the family path leading him to the race track, Morgan’s dad, Ronnie Bagley, all but axed that from the beginning when assigning his name ...
