COLUMBUS JUNCTION, IA (May 23, 2011) - Rain forced the cancellation or racing action at CJ Speedway last week for the first time this season. Coming up Friday, May 27 the 360 sprint cars will be taking on the CJ Speedway track when the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders will compete for $1000 to win. This will be the Invaders first race of the season following a rainout April 16. Also competing will be the IMCA Stock Cars, Mod Lites and 4 Cylinders. The Li’l Racer Car Club will be holding a gunny sack race at intermission. Gates open at 5:30, hot laps at 7 and races start at 7:30 Admission is Adults $12, Seniors, $10 , Students 11 to 17 is $8 and kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult admission.
