FARLEY, IA (June 3, 2011) - The twenty lap IMCA Modified feature went right down to the wire here at the Farley speedway Friday night. Twelve year veteran Mark Schulte got a huge bite coming off of turn two then passed Jerry Luloff for the lead on the last lap and went to capture his first win of the 2011 racing season. Bobby Moyer lead the first ten circuits before Cory Bauer moved ahead and lead through lap fifteen and he would bring out the divisions final caution bunching the field up for an exciting finish.Jerry Luloff grabbed the lead and lead the next three cicuits until Schulte made his charge and motored on for his first win of the season.Jerry Luloff was second,J.D.Auringer third, Todd Hansen fourth, with Matt Irwin fifth. Jerry Miles had his problems fixed from the heat race to come back and win the fifteen lap stock car feature,leading from the fifth lap on. Tyler Soppe who lead t first laps and is having a good run this this year finised second,Phil Holtz placed third,Matt Bennett was fourth, with Alex Hansen fifth. Vince Bucholz grabbed the lead at the drop of the green flag and went on to capture his first IMCA Hobby Stock feature win of the season. He lead the twelve lapper from flag to flag. Billy Bonnet from Knoxville, Iowa placed second, Russell Dramme Jr third, Jeremy Campbell fourth,with Nick Widemeier fifth The largest car count of the season to date for the IMCA Sport Mod class and driver Drew Fish from Vinton, Iowa, with his win a week ago Sunday now has two in a row with the win tonight in his first ever appearance here leading from the third lap on. Jason Doyle was second, Curt Becker third,2010 IMCA National Imca Sport Mod Champion Austin Kaplin finished fourth after coming from the rear losing ateir early on, with Brad Crary fifth In the IMCA Sport Compact division John Flury is now six wins in eight attemps as he won the ten lap feature over Chris Powers, and Seth Parsons.
