WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (June 3) – IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers competing with Mitchell Machine-made transmissions are in the running for cash and product awards again in 2011. The top eligible finisher in point standings for the Probe Industries Northern Region and in the Stephenville Starter Southern Region each receive $250 in cash from the Webster City, Iowa, manufacturer. Eligible drivers finishing second and third in the two regions get $100 product certificates from the fifth-year IMCA sponsor. Drivers must also return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1 and display two Mitchell Machine decals on their race car. Awards will be mailed after point standings become official in late October. "The goal of this program falls in line with other sign-up programs in the division by recognizing the accomplishments of current customers participating with a Mitchell-made transmission," noted IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder.
