Eckrich, Dolan, Brandies, Hansen, Chandler and Barth Grab Saturday Night Victories at West Liberty

WEST LIBERTY, IA (June 4, 2011) - It rained all around but the show went on without a hitch and IMCA late model driver Andy Eckrich nailed his second win of the week and fourth of the season as he won the twenty five lap IMCA late model feature here at the West Liberty Raceway Saturday night. Sam Halstead lead the first two laps before Tommy Elston moved out in front and lead through lap six.Thats when Andy Eckerich motored around for the lead.Nick Marolf moved into second and had begun to put pressure on Eckerich but Eckerich would prevail on this night grabbing his second win othe season at west liberty to go along with his two Deery Series wins.Trailing Marolf who ran second and running third was Mike Klinkhammer,Colby Springsteen finished  fourth with Tommy Elston fifth.

Ryan Dolan passed early leader Rick Hixson on lap four and never looked back as he wnt on to win the Gustaf Engine and Machine open wheel modified twenty lap feature for the third time this season.Dolan,a man on a mission was like a rocketship i n the Terry

Jamison owned machine easily finishing ahead of Bruce Hanford who finished second,Johnny Spaw was third,Steve Stewart fourth with Todd Hansen fifth.

In the Kile Motorsports Stock Car division it had been one year to the day but this driver didnt forget how to do it he went out and did it. David Brandies lead laps one and two, then regained the lead from Marcus Ostofi on lap five and lead the remaing seven laps for his first win in a year.. Matt Greiner placed second, Marcus Ostofi an excellent run third, Bryan Holmes fourth, with Rich Voght fifth.

In the IMCA Type Modified feature Todd Hansen grabbed the lead at the drop of the green flag and never looked back as he went on to capture the twelve lap victory his first of the season leading from flag to flag.Dakota Hayden placed second,Mark Schulte third, Rick Housman fourth, with Dave Shrirer fifth

In the IMCA Sport Compacts Nathan Chandler saved the best for last as he passed Bill Whalen Sr coming out of turn four at the line for the win.Brad Chandler was third,Mike Morrow fourth,with Merv Chandler fifth

In the INEX Legends fifteen lap feature Eric Barth passed Mike Miller on lap six and went on to win the fifteen lapper in a thrilling event. Hal Russell was second, Mike Miller third, Bret Diercks fourth, with Dominic Bates fifth.
