In the IMCA late model division Tyler Breuning a six year veteran from Decorah, Iowa, grabbed the lead from Luke Goedert on the eleventh then survived a couple of late race cautions and went on to capture his first late model win of the season here at the speedway giving him two total for the season. Stephan Kammerer a victim of an earlier spin came through the field nicely and wound up second. Joel Callahan also a victim of a spin and a flat tire,came from the rear of the pack to run third.Terry Neal broke the rear end in his primary car, borrowed the car usually driven by Brian Klein,and drove it to a fourth place finish. Luke Merfeld fresh off his first feature win in five years at the Independence Motor Speedway on Saturday night finished fifth. Waterloos' J.D.Auringer is quietly putting together a streak of wins.Auringer fresh off an $1100 payday at the Hamilton County Speedway on Saturday night followed that up with the twenty lap Dubuque Moving and Storage modified feature victory for his fifth win of the season. Jason Schueller placed second,Ron Barker third,Mark Schulte fourth, with Tony VonDresky fifth. Wayne Hora passed leader Jerry Miles on the fifth lap and went on to capture his first SPI Epworth Cabinet Shop stock car feature win here at the speedway. Miles,Terry Rittmer,Kevin Brame,and Tyler Soppe,finished second through fifth. Lee Kinsella led flag to flag to capture his second IMCA Type Hobby Stock ten lap feature leading from flag to flag. Jeremy Campbell was second, Robbie Clifton third, Brandon Beschen fourth, with Rod Chapman fifth. Josh Sherbon grabbed the lead at the drop of the green flag and never looked back enroute to the twelve lap IMCA Type Sport Mod Feature win his second of the weekend and also his second feature win here at the speedway. James Ashenbrenner was second,Cory Tharp third, Hope Schmerebach fourth, with Cory Evans fifth. John Flury is hotter than hot as he got his eighth win in ten attempts winning the ten lap IMCA Type Sport Compact feature event. Jordan Tortensen was second, Russ Neal third, Bryce Garnhart fourth, with Wes Digman fifth.
