Neal Moyer Current Beschen Sherbon Quinn Capture Sunday Night Victories at Dubuque

DUBUQUE, IA (June 26, 2011) - 2010 IMCA late model track point champion Terry Neal passed Ryan Duhme for the lead on lap six,then lead the remaining nineteen laps to notch his sixth IMCA late model feature victory of the season overall winning the twenty five lap Wenzel Towing a main event here at the Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway Sunday evening. Brian Klein finished second, Jim Brokus third, Joel Callahan came from the rear to place fourth, with Nick Marolf fifth.

In the Dubuque Moving and Storage IMCA type Modifieds driver Bobby Moyer had been running real strong this season for car owner Ken Boyse but hadn't quite got to the top yet. Sunday night Bobby sat on the pole, survived several caution flags, and kept a hard charging Ron Barker t bay to win his first ever IMCA type modified feature leading from flag to flag. Barker who had a flat early on, came from the rear of the pack and as the lps wound down as he does so well used the high groove to his liking was back into the top three within a few laps and wound up second. Dave McClain placed third, Mark Schulte fourth, with Matt Gansen fifth.

In the Epworth Cabinet SPI fifteen lap Stock Car feature event it isnt even mid season yet and Timmy Current held off a hard charging Wayne Hora to notch his thirteenth stock car feature win of the season. Jarret Franzen placed third, Tyler Soppe fourth, with Terry Rittmer fifth.

In the A and B Auto IMCA type Hobby Stocks Brandon Beschen passed Nick Wiedemeier on lap eight and lead the remaing four laps for his first ever feature win in the Hobby Stock division. Wiedemeier last weeks feature winner was second, Lee Kinsella third, Jeremy Campbell fourth, with Robbie Clifton fifth.

In the IMCA type Sport Compacts Pat Quinn got his second win of the weekend as he won the ten lap feature leading from the third lap on. John Flury was second, Jordan Thortensen third, Eric McDonough fourth, with Wes Digman fifth.
