Stolte Zogg Greiner Hansen and Whalen Capture Saturday Night Victories @ West Liberty

WEST LIBERTY, IA (June 2, 2011) - In the IMCA I Wireless late model twenty five lap feature here at the West Liberty raceway Saturday night young Jonathon Brauns wheeled to his first ever late model win leading from flag to flag however it was determined in post race inspection that his race car had an illegal spacer on it thus giving the win to Dale Stolte. Stoltes win was his first in over over two years in competition.

Doug Yates enjoyed his best late model finish to date running second,Sam Halstead third,Colby Springsteen from ninth to fourth, with Nate Beusling finishing fifth.

In the Gustaf Engine and Machine modified twenty five lapper extra laps and extra money greeted the drivers and for young Chris Zogg he got his first win at the west liberty raceway and second career win total in a span of four years in a modified. Chris grabbed the lead and was out and gone and easily finished ahead of his second place finisher Ryan Dolan,with Todd Hansen third, Noah Coppess fourth, and Mark Schulte fifth.

In the Kile Motorsports Stock Car division Matt Greiner and David Brandies swapped the lead back and forth before Greiner kept it for good with two laps left for his eighth win of the season.Brandies was second, Marcus Ostofi third, Cody Harris fourth with Rob Staats fifth.

In the Spenler Tire IMCA Type modified Todd Hansen passed Mark Schulte on the third lap and lead the remaining nine laps for his fourth IMCA modified feature victory win in a row.Tim Murty placed second, Mark Schulte third, Larry Herring fourth with Rick Housman fifth In the US6 Body Works IMCA type Sport Compacts Tyler Whalen grabbed the lead at the outset then held off challenges from Nathan Chandler to win the ten lap feature even. Merv Chandler was third, Mike Morrow fourth, with Ryan Walker fifth.
