Guss Dolan Brandies Hansen Chandler Win Saturday Night at West Liberty

WEST LIBERTY, IA (July 30, 2011) - Starting on the pole Ray Guss Jr grabbed the lead at the outset and never looked back as he motored on to the I-Wireless IMCA twenty five lap late model feature victory here at the West Liberty raceway Saturday night. The 2010 IMCA National point champion and 2010 IMCA Deery Brothers series champion picked up his tenth win for 2011 with the victory. Kevin Kile came from ninth on the grid and finished second, Andy Eckrich from eleventh to third, Mike Klinkhammer fourth, with Jeff Guengerich fifth.

In the Gustaf Engine and Machine twenty lap modified feature Scott Dickey had lead throughout when coming to the last lap Ryan Dolan drove his race car underneath Dickeys' race car coming out of turn two for the lead a lead he would never relinquish in notching his ninth win of the season. Scott Dickey was second, Mark Schulte third, Noah Coppess fourth, with Johnny Spaw fifth.

In the Kile Motorsports stock car feature it was a dandy throughout as David Brandies went on to capture his third victory of the season. Rob Staathwas second, Cody Harris third, Andrew Burke fourth, with Chris Hinrichs fifth.

In the Spenler Tire IMCA type modified feature Larry Herring lead the first eleven laps until Todd Hansen moved along side going into turn three on the last lap then Hansen lead the last lap for the victory his fifth of the season.Herring finished second, Bob Dominacki third,Dakota Hayden fourth with Mark Schulte fifth.

In the US6 Body Works IMCA Sport Compact 10 lap feature Nathan Chandler passed Tyler Whalen on lap six then lead the next four laps for his fifth win here this season and eighteenth overall..Tyler Whalen who has thirteen feature wins to his credit this season finished second, Mike Marrow third,Ryan Walker fourth,with Jordan Walker fifth, No racing here at West Liberty on the 6th as we will be racing on Tuesday night august ninth TORNADO TUESDAY OPEN LATE MODEL 10,000 TO WIN. with open mods and imca mods.
