FARLEY, IA (August 5, 2011) - Racing action resumed here at the farley speedway friday night as the rained out IMCA late model feature from july 22nd was was run with several new drivers in attendance. Ray Guss Jr.won the ten lap qualifier setting the stage for the two twenty five lappers to be run. In the first twenty five lapper Luke Goedert passed Jon Merfeld on lap seven,then held Ray Guss Jr at bay to capture his second IMCA late model feature victory of the season.Andy Eckrich placed third,Dale Stolte fourth,with Jim Brokus fifth.Tyler Breuning passed Jon Merfeld on the tenth lap then lead the remaining fifteen for his fifth victory of the season overall.The young decorah ,iowa driver was followed across the line by Terry Neal in second,Ray Guss Jr third,Andy Eckrich fourth with Charlie McKenna fifth. In the IMCA modified division Jake Bowman won the eight lap qualifier setting the stage for the IMCA modified features.In the IMCA modified feature rained out july 22nd young Matt Gansen had his hot rod hooked up and hummin leading the twenty lapper from flag to flag and winning his first feature of the 2011 campaign.Matt Stagman finished second,Mark Schulte third,Chris Horn fourth with Todd Hansen fifth.Four different drivers shared the spotlight in feature number two.Matt Gansen lead the first four laps,till Todd Hansen moved to the point for laps five and six.Corey Bauer moved to the point and lead from lap seven through fifteen.Jerry Luloff 2010 IMCA modified track champion found the bottom side of the track to his liking moved his mount ahead and lead the final few laps for the ensuing victory.Mark Schulte was second,Corey Bauer third,Todd Hansen fourth,with Chris Horn fifth In the IMCA Sport Mod division Drew Fish passed Austin Moyer on the sixth lap then motored on to victory.Aric Becker was second, Hope Schmerebach third,Matt Miller fourth,with Brad Crary fifth. In the IMCA Hobby Stock division Billy Bonnett lead the tweive lapper from flag to flag for victory.Jeremy Campbll was second, Kyle Vohringer third,Vince Bucholz fourth with Robbie Clifton fifth In the SPI Stock car division Timmy Current grabbed the led on the fourth lap then never looked back enroute to his twenty second win of the season.Jerry Miles was second,Jimmy Brokus who came from a lap down finished third,Travis Kaiser fourth,with Jarett Franzen fifth John Flury is having an incredible season in the IMCA Sport compact division as he lead the ten lap feature from flag to flag for his fifteenth win of the 2011 campaign.Ross Neal was second,Becky Roth third,Jake Montoya fourth with Eric Youngblood fifth.
