COLUMBUS JUNCTION, IA (August 23, 2011) - CJ Speedway, along with sponsorship from Richard Realty Auction, Thirsty Camel, Kile Feed and Grain, Elston Auto Repair, Wiele Chevrolet and Columbus Junction State Bank, will be paying out $1000 to the driver who wins the 30 lap late model feature Friday, August 26. It’s the Mod Lite and IMCA Type Late Model season championship night. Several drivers have already committed to compete in the draw/redraw show. (Note: this is not a top loaded payout as the place finishes purse will be increased down the line). Added bonuses include $100 to win the late model trophy dash sponsored by Thirsty Camel. Heat winners will receive a $200 gift certificate towards a vinyl wrap courtesy Griffin Racing and CJ Speedway will give out a $75 Hard Charger award. The 2011 season will end on Friday, Sept. 2 with season championship night for stock cars, modifieds, sport compacts and a pit stop challenge.
