RPM Speedway Fall Nationals special this weekend

HAYS, Kan. (Sept. 10) – A $5,000 to win feature for IMCA Modifieds headlines night two of this weekend’s Fall Nationals at Rolling Plains Motor Speedway.

The second annual special is scheduled Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12-13 and sports main events both nights for the sanctioned Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks.

Both Modified features are part of the Larry Shaw Racing Blood, Sweat and Tears Series; the Saturday show is also a qualifier for the 2009 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.

Modifieds race for $600 to win on Friday. Stocks race for $400 to win Friday and $3,000 to win Saturday, while top prize in the Hobby mains are $300 on Friday and $1,000 on Saturday.

All applicable IMCA points will be awarded for each program at Hays.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. on Friday. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4 p.m.

Hot laps are at 5 p.m. and the first green flag waves at 6 p.m.

Grandstand admission both nights is $10 for adults and $5 for kids 6-12, with five and under admitted free. Pit passes will be $25.
