NATIONAL SPRINT CAR MUSEUM “MEMBERS ONLY” RECEPTION
TO SALUTE THIRTY YEARS OF THE WORLD OF OUTLAWS

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 4, 2008) - This year’s National Sprint Car Hall of Fame (NSCHoF) “Members Only” reception, to be held on the museum’s second floor on Thursday, August 7, at 1 p.m., will salute the thirty-year history of the World of Outlaws (WoO). Little 500 Hall of Fame inductee Dave Argabright will interview many former and current WoO Sprint Car Series regulars as they reminisce about life on Ted Johnson’s tough national tour since its first race at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in March of 1978. The program will be held on day two of the four-day 48th annual Super Clean Knoxville Nationals, presented by Lucas Oil.

Supporting members of the non-profit museum foundation, with one guest each, will be admitted to the free reception starting at 12:30 p.m. by showing their current museum membership card. The forum will take place on the air-conditioned second floor of the National Sprint Car Museum. Memberships will be available at the door for those that want to attend the one-of-a-kind ‘Salute to 30 Years of WoO’ reception but have not yet taken advantage of the museum’s value-added annual membership program. Those seeking further information on the VIP “Members Only” reception and the museum’s $25 annual supporting membership program are urged to call the museum at 1-800-874-4488 or visit its web site at www.sprintcarhof.com.
