SHANE CARSON, JAC HAUDENSCHILD, DANNY SMITH & DOUG
WOLFGANG COMMIT TO MUSEUM’S “MEMBERS ONLY” RECEPTION

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 26, 2008) - World of Outlaws (WoO) veterans Shane Carson, Jac Haudenschild, Danny Smith and Doug Wolfagng are the first four participants to sign on for this year’s National Sprint Car Hall of Fame (NSCHoF) “Members Only” reception during the 48th annual Super Clean Knoxville Nationals. The annual gathering of museum supporters will be hosted by award-winning journalist Dave Argabright and will be held on the museum’s second floor on Thursday, August 7, at 1 p.m. The theme this year will be a salute to the thirty-year history of the World of Outlaws (WoO) and will include many former WoO regulars as they reminisce about life on Ted Johnson’s tough national tour since its first race at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in March of 1978.

Supporting members of the non-profit museum foundation, with one guest each, will be admitted to the free reception starting at 12:30 p.m. by showing their current museum membership card. The forum, organized by museum marketing director Craig Agan, will take place on the air-conditioned second floor of the National Sprint Car Museum. Memberships will be available at the door for those that want to attend the one-of-a-kind ‘Salute to 30 Years of WoO’ reception but have not yet taken advantage of the museum’s value-added annual membership program. Those seeking further information on the VIP “Members Only” reception and the museum’s $25 annual supporting membership program are urged to call the museum at 1-800-874-4488 or visit its web site at www.sprintcarhof.com.
