CURT SCHROEDER HELPS TURN NEGATIVE INTO A POSITIVE
WITH DONATION TO THE MUSEUM-BENEFIT AUCTION IN KNOXVILLE

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (Sep 26) - Dirt late model driver Curt Schroeder of Des Moines today helped turn last night’s personal misfortune into tomorrow’s possible fortune for the non-profit National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville and the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame in Florence, Kentucky. This morning, Curt donated a side-panel off his Gateway Plumbing number 15c dirt late model stock car that flipped hard in turn one in last night’s first heat race of the Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals to the National Sprint Car Museum’s Knoxville Late Model Auction to be held tomorrow at 12 Noon on the museum’s second floor.

According to museum executive director Bob Baker, “We can’t thank people like Curt Schroeder enough for their personal generosity to our cause. Over the last two days we’ve also received autographed side panels from Jill George, Matt Miller and Chris Spieker. And NASCAR star Kenny Schrader has donated several unique autographed items and indicated that he will make an appearance at the Saturday afternoon auction. Again, we want auction donors and bidders to know how much we value their support!”
