Unique Prize Awaits Poker Run Rider with Winning Hand 

KNOXVILLE, IA (August 27, 2010) – The rider with the winning hand at the conclusion of the Poker Run on Saturday, September 18th will receive a Harley-Davidson swing.  The swing has been custom built and is the Grand Prize for the event that is being promoted by and will benefit the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, located in Knoxville, Iowa.

The Poker Run which is sanctioned by the American Motorcycle Association (AMA), is being held in conjunction with the “Rolling Thunder Show” motorcycle races scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights, September 17 & 18, at the Knoxville Raceway. 

The Poker Run will depart from and return to the parking lot of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum and will make stops at the Iowa Speedway, Newton – the Big Barn Harley-Davidson Store in Des Moines – the Route 65 Harley-Davidson Store - Indianola and will return to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in plenty of time for riders to attend the Saturday night AMA Pro Racing Grand National Championship Motorcycle Race, featuring: Chris Carr, Kenny Cooleeth and Jared Mess. 

Sign in on Saturday will begin at 8:00 am and will end at 9:30 am.  Departure time will be 10:00 am sharp.  Additional prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the ride.  Those donating prizes include: Iowa Speedway the Big Barn Harley-Davidson Store and the Route 65 Harley-Davidson Store.  

Those who are interested in riding may fill out the registration form that can be found on the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum’s web site at: www.sprintcarhof.com, or you may pick up a form at the Hall of Fame, Iowa Speedway, the Big Barn Harley-Davidson Store and the Route 65 Harley-Davidson Store.  In addition, you may call the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum with your registration information at: 641-842-6176 or 800-874-4488.  Cost per rider is $35.00 and payment may be made in cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.  All proceeds from the Poker Run will benefit the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum.
