KNOXVILLE, IOWA, March 9, 2011 - History, tradition and bright shiny car things go hand in hand at Knoxville Raceway and the World of Wheels. This nationwide tour makes a pit stop in Des Moines this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with some of the most beautiful cars and motorcycles on display. The Knoxville Nationals Tour will be exhibited all three days of the show, along with the sprint car simulator and autographs from Miss Knoxville Raceway. We will also be giving away a pair of Knoxville Nationals tickets each day of the show, but you must attend in order to register for a chance to win. In addition to hundreds of stunning custom cars and motorcycles, the World of Wheels has scheduled guest appearances from UFC Star, Tim Silvia, and Reality TV Star, Billy the Exterminator. Show times are Friday from 5 - 10 pm, Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm. Tickets are just $13 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-12. Knoxville Raceway hosts 34 race nights throughout the year, featuring some of the biggest open-wheel dirt track races in the world. Premier events include the 51st Goodyear Knoxville Nationals, 21st Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals, 8th Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals and the AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Series.
