'BEST OF THE BEST' IN THE WORLD OF SPRINT CAR RACING TO CONVERGE ON KNOXVILLE RACEWAY IN AUGUST

KNOXVILLE, IA  (July 18, 2011) - Steve Kinser.  Gary Wright.  Jon Stanbrough.  Donny Schatz.  Terry McCarl.  Levi Jones.  Jason Meyers.  Jason Johnson.  Brandon "Bud" Kaeding.  Sammy Swindell.  Shane Stewart.  Damion Gardner.  Joey Saldana.  Wayne Johnson.  Tracy Hines.  Danny Lasoski.  Brian Brown.  Chris Windom.  Greg Hodnett.  Paul McMahan.  Daron Clayton.  Fred Rahmer.  Brooke Tatnell. 

These are just some of the American, Australian and Canadian sprint car drivers that have already pre-entered the ASCS Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals (August 4-6), the USAC Non-Winged Knoxville Nationals (August 7), or the WoO Goodyear Knoxville Nationals (August 10-13), at the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa. 

"Gang, if you are a sprint car racing fan anywhere in the country, indeed anywhere in the world, this is the place to be to see the 'best of the best' over the course of 8 nights in ten days," said Knoxville director of racing Ralph 'Cappy' Capitani. "And we are talking non-winged 410's, and winged 305's, 360's and 410's." 

Add to that sanctioning by the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS), All Star Circuit of Champions (ASCoC), United States Auto Club (USAC) and the World of Outlaws (WoO) - and Capitani said this year's Cox Design Iowa Speed Week, which includes the August 8 ASCoC Front Row Challenge and the August 9 USAC Ultimate Challenge events at nearby Oskaloosa, may be the "best ten consecutive nights of sprint car racing ever!" 

Other entrants for the Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals include Brad Foster, Cap Henry, Danny Jennings, Logan Forler, Dustin Daggett, Eric Baldaccini, Kevin Ramey, Matt Covington, Randy Martin, Johnny Herrera, R.J. Johnson, Calvin Landis, Henry Van Dam and Lee Grosz. 

Other entrants for the Non-Winged Knoxville Nationals include Matt Mitchell, Robert Ballou, J.J. Hughes, Mike Moore, and J.C. Bland. 

Other entrants for the Goodyear Knoxville Nationals include Jonathan Allard, Kevin Swindell, Stevie Smith, Danny Smith, Toni Lutar, Lucas Wolfe, Kraig Kinser, Craig Dollansky, Robby Wolfgang, Jason Sides, Sam Hafertepe, Jr., Tyler Walker, Brian Montieth, Daryn Pittman, Lance Dewease, Brad Sweet,Jason Solwold, Davey Heskin, Cody Darrah and Dusty Zomer.
