After 2 weeks off, The "High Banks" came back to life on Friday night. 

MARSHALLTOWN, IA (May 27, 2011) - First feature of the night was the O'Reilly Auto Parts Mod Lites. Charlie Brown took the early lead, but it was only short lived as Tim Hennigar would make the pass on lap 2. Josh May then took the top spot on lap 4. Then the first of 2 race cautions came out for Tim Hennigar coming to a stop.  May went on to the win despite a caution coming out on lap 14, which forced a green-white-checkered finish.  Mike Morrill, Andy Hennigar, Mike Kennedy and Michael Parcel rounded out the top 5 behind May. 

In the Big 8 Tyre Center IMCA Sport Mods Jenae Gustin would take the lead. Gustin would lose the lead on the restart to Cayden Carter. Carter would cruise on to the win. Scott Davis was 2nd, Tyler Droste was 3rd, Nick Roberts was 4th and Jayme Dunink was 5th. 

Mike's Hard Lemonade IMCA Stock Cars where up next.  Steve Meyer would take command and not look back despite a caution on lap 5, then 2 cautions on lap 9. Meyer would go on to the win, Damon Murty was 2nd, Jay Schmidt was 3rd, Trent Murphy was 4th and Jeff Wollam was 5th.  

The Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel IMCA Modifieds feture toook the track.  Duane Peterson would lead the first few laps only to see the first caution come out on lap 3 which resulted in a red flag. When racing got resumed Peterson stayed out front only to get passed by Josh Truman on lap 10. The final race caution came out on lap 12.  Truman would remain out front but Jon Snyder was coming on the top side and Snyder would make the pass coming off turn 4 to take the victory from Truman.  

The final feature of the night was the Toby K's Hideaway IMCA Hobby Stocks.  Rookie Brice Udelhoven would lead early but  Brandon Brinton would take the top spot.  Brinton went on to take the win, Eric Larson was 2nd, Donavon Nunnikhoven was 3rd, Kevin Fee was 4th and Mike Vibbard was 5th. 

Next Friday Night will be Minute Man Printing Night at the Races and again thanks to the Evening Optimist Club all kids 11 and Under get in Free. Gates Open at 5:30 pm, Hot Laps at 6:45pm and Racing at 7:30pm
