Jackpot Junction returns as title sponsor of Sprint Car series

MORTON, Minn. (May 7) – Jackpot Junction Ca sino Hotel returns for an 11th season as title sponsor of the tour for IMCA KSE Racing Products Sprint Cars.

An enter prise of the Lower Sioux Indian Com munity, Jackpot Junction will furnish a portion of the $4,650 point fund to be paid to the top 10 drivers in final standings for the 12th annual series.

“The support our Sprint Car tour has received from Jackpot Junction over the past decade has been invaluable and continues to be much appreciated by participating drivers,” said Kevin Yoder, director of marketing for IMCA. “With 11 races and first-time visits to two new tracks on the schedule, 2008 looks to be the best season in Jackpot Junction Tour history.”

The tour is now scheduled to open this Friday night at Jackson Speedway.

Arlington Raceway and Redwood Speedway at Redwood Falls both host three events, Jackson a pair, and Kasson Speedway and Nobles County Speedway at Worthington one each before the Sept. 2 finale during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals at Boone, Iowa, Speedway.

Defending champion is Jennifer Eriksen.

Located in Morton, Minn., Jackpot Junc tion features a variety of gaming, four res taurants, the 276-room Lower Sioux Lodge, con vention and entertainment facilities, as well as a recently expanded sea sonal RV park with 70 full hookup sites and the 18-hole Dacotah Ridge Golf Course.
