KRC awards contingencies to top national, regional drivers in eight IMCA divisions

LOCKWOOD, Mo. (Feb. 12) – Contingency awards from Kluhsman Racing Components will go to drivers in eight divisions, based on 2008 national or regional IMCA point standings.

Top three finishers nationally for Late Models, Sprint Cars, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and Crate Models all receive $75 product certificates from the Lockwood, Mo., high performance parts manufacturer, as do the top 10 in national Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Southern SportMod standings.

The top three drivers in each of the five regions for IMCA Modifieds also earn $75 KRC certificates.

KRC gave Northern SportMod awards for the first time in 2006 and added the Southern SportMods to its contingency program last year.

Drivers in both classes are required to display two KRC decals on their race car to be eligible.

Information about Kluhsman-made products is available by calling 800 814-5745 or at the www.krcracing.com website.

“KRC remains an integral supporter of both SportMod divisions and will now spread additional support to the Crate Model division,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder, “as the top drivers in that class will receive KRC contingency awards for the first time.”
