Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series update

SPRINGFIELD, MO. (Mar 25) - With the first scheduled race of 2008 rained out on March 8th, there's been a long break on the schedule. Fortunately, the race at Crawford County has been rescheduled for Thursday night July 3rd.

With the break in the schedule, this Saturday March 29th, will be used for an additional tech day. Series inspector, George Hill, will be a Ken Essary's shop on Saturday morning at 10:00 am, for anyone not able to make the first tech day that was held on March 1 at Country Dodge in Cassville, MO. This pre-race inspection process will make things run more smoothly during the races, so we would appreciate anyone who could bring out their car.

April 12 the cars and stars of the Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series will make their way to the legendary Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK. Pit gates will open at 4:00 with races getting underway at 7:00. Be on the lookout for more information on this race coming soon.

This will be the first of 20 scheduled races for the 2008 season. It looks to be an exciting year with 2007 Series champ Leslie Essary and 2005/6 Champ Ken Essary returning for battle along with other top runners including Jim Fulp, Rick Lebow, Jeremy Kelley, Jarrod Hilton, Conner Ward, Kevin Henson, Darrin Barton, & Roger Wilson just to name a few. Adding to the mix will be several new drivers to the series including Shane Essary, along with up and coming Jimmy Bellamy, Bo Morelock, Todd McIntrye and more.
