Weather Pushes Back Lebanon I-44 Speedway Racin Back 1 Week

LEBANON, MO. (June 5) - Heavy Rains throughout the week has caused officials at the high-Banks of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway to push the Racing Card back 1 week while the track is undergoing a new surface overhaul.

The track is about 50 percent done, but with the rains Sat,Monday,Tuesday and Wed haven't allowed crews to finish the project.

The track is putting Brown dirt down and removing the red clay and making the track alittle smaller. The groove on the low side is being moved downward and the top 10-20 Feet of the Top will not be used and there is a chance that the Asphalt surface will be shown.

The next scheduled event on the I-44 Schedule is June 14th as the AllState Insurance DLRA LateModels will make there first ever event at I-44 as they challange the O'Reilly MSRA LateModels out of Arkansas along with points races for the USRA A-mods,B-Mods and Bombers.
