Midway Set For Double Points Night

LEBANON, Mo. (July 15) - In the chase for the 2008 season title, Lebanon Midway will be hosting its last scheduled double points night of the season for the Super Stocks, Factory Stocks, B-Mods, Bombers, and 305 Winged Sprints.

The USRA Modifieds will be running under the USRA regular points system for the night.
Who is going to win has been the question all season long at the Midway as many new faces have visited the winner's circle and many first time ever winners have also joined.

Going into this weekends action 2006 SuperStock Champion Ben Newell holds a slim 27 point lead over His Father JC Newell.Ben has captured 4 wins this season while JC has 3 wins.First time winners Bill Joiner,Dwight Niehoff and Clinton Betts also have victories in the Tim Parson's Auto Sales Sponsored class.

The FactoryStock Class again proves to be tough as consistant runs by Tim Petty Of Niangua has vaulted him into the number 1 spot with a 41 marker lead over Derek Brown. Out of 10 features this season 8 different drivers have captured the checkered flag as Mark Bourey and Aaron Gustin both have 2 wins while Ben Solberg,Sundance Keeper,Dusty Rhoads.Kris Jackson,Issac Keeper and Chris Darnell all have 1 win each.

The Casey's General Stores USRA Modifieds provided not only alot of power,but also a very competitive field.Going into this weekend Jimmy Willis of Macks Creek takes over the point lead with a 9 marker lead over 2005 champion Jamie Ragland.Defending Modified champion Eric Hudson of Rolla leads with 3 wins while riding third in the track standings.Ragland has 2 wins while single wins have been posted by Justin Neuman,Rex Merritt,Tony Jackson Jr,Jesse Stovall and Johnny Bone Jr.The USRA Modifieds will run for the normal point structure this weekend.

The Bomber division finds Lebanon's Brandon Knudtson holding the point lead 54 points ahead of Brandon Waters.The real race is for third place and behind.Shawn Strong of Republic has recorded 4 wins while Knudtson has 2 wins along with Robert High.Rob White and Shawn Winfrey have single wins.

The GlassHopper Glass Repair B-Mods finds defending champion Jason Otto of Richland heading the pack with a 47 point lead over Mickey Burrell.4 different drivers have captured 2 wind this season including Otto,Josh Woody,Steve Muilenburg and Colt Cheevers.Single victories have been recorded by Kenny dickinson and opening night winner Ed wilson.
The WingedSprintCars finds defending Midway Champion JP Compton of Crane heading the field with a 24 point advantage over Lebanon's Rusty Quick with Lebanon's Scott Wedelstadt a solid third.Winners this season include 2 wins each by Compton and J.Kinder while Keith Breedlove,Eric Todd and Micheal White have single wins.
