I-44 Prepares For 6th Annual Phillips Memorial $7500 To The LateModel Winner

LEBANON, MO (August 9) - Staff and officials of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway are preparing for one of the biggest races of the season as the running of the 6th annual Larry Phillips Memorial is right around the corner with the dates on Aug 29 & 30 on the Labor Day Weekend.

Friday Night will feature qualifying heats for the AllState Insurance DLRA and O'Reilly AutoParts MARS Super LateModels along with a qualifying feature event for the LateModels preparing for the 7500 to win 40 lap feature event on Sat night.Also qualifying heats for the USRA Modifieds,FactoryStocks,Bombers,B-Mods and Rookies.
Past Winners in this event include Bill Frye of Greenbrier,Ark,Wendell Wallace of Batesville,Ark,Brian Shirly of Chatham,ILL and Terry Phillips of Springfield,Mo.

Support classes running will include the USRA Modifieds as the winner on Sat Night will recieve $1,000,FactoryStocks racing for $500 to win,B-Modifieds will be running for $500 to win while Bombers will battle for $400 to win and the Rookie/PureStock class winner will recieve $200.

Gates open both nights at 5PM with Racing both nights at 7:30 sharp.
