Lebanon Midway Back Into Action On Friday October 17 For Friday Fun Night

LEBANON, MO (Oct. 14) - The Action track of the Ozarks the Lebanon Midway Speedway will swing back into racing action on Friday Night October 17th with a fun type of night.

Classes included will be the A-Mods,FactoryStocks,Bombers,B-Mods and PureStocks.Also included and invited are the Hornets and Mini-stocks which will be ran together.An Enduro will also be raced that night.

Classes will time in on the clock with 1 lap of qualifying and run 2 features with each feature being 12 laps.The first feature will be heads-up from qualifying with the second feature totally inverted from the finish of feature number 1.The finishes of both features will be added together and the lowest point driver will be declared the winner.

"We did this about a month ago with some different classes and everyone had fun,no pressure of points,just go out and race and enjoy yourself."quoted owner Jack Jones.The feedback from our drivers with the pitstop challange was outstanding and we have tweaked the way we are doing it so it should be fun."B-Mod Rookie driver JC Morton won the pitstop challange that night with Corey Pope and Tony Jackson Jr doing the pitstop.Morton also won the B-Mod feature overall event

The Speedway will also be hosting another pitstop challange race before the actual racing begins.This will give both drivers and fans a different perspective as the crews will change a right rear tire and the driver will start from a dead start at the start finish line and make 1 lap around and thn pulling into a 30 foot box on the frontstretch and then leaving and stopping the clock at a cone spot just at the end of the frontstretch.lugnuts not making 50 lbs of torque will be adding 5 seconds of time for each loose lugnut and also going over the wall to early and entering to early will also have pentalties.

The payouts will be based on 10 car fields and for every class with 5 over added money will be put into the purse.


Pitpasses will be $25 per person and grandstand admission will be $10 for adults with kids 10 and under Free.


Gates will open at 5PM and qualifying will begin at 8PM sharp.Payouts for the classes will be announced early this week.
