Springfield Raceway To Open Southwest Missouri Action With
March Madness On Sat 27th

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (February 25, 2010) - The Quick-Quarter of the Springfield
Raceway will kick-off the Competition Action in Southwest Missouri with the
running of the March Madness Event on Sat March 27th with over $20,000 in
purse money up for grabs.
Racing Action will feature 4 classes of Racing with the popular Show-Me
Racin Series LateModels headlining the event with a $1,000 to win $250 To
Start feature.This will be the 2nd scheduled points race for the Show-Me
Series and will open-up their Home Based Action.
Also in action will be the A-Mods(USRA Rules) in a high powered $1,000 to
win and $125 to start event,the ever growing SportMods battling for a $400
to win and $50 to start feature event while the hard charging LegendCars
will also be battling with the winner taking home $300 while it pays $35 to
start the feature.
For drivers not making the feature events it will pays as follows A-Mods
$100(Must Start the Last Chance Events) SportMods not making the feature
will recieve $40(Must start the Last Chance Events) and the Show-Me
LateModels not making the A feature will receive $100(Must Start Last Chance
Events).
Entry Fees will be $75 for the LateModels, A-Mods Entry Fee is $50.
SportMods Entry Fee is $20 and Legends Entry Fee is set at $10. Pitpasses
will be $35. Passing points will help set the field.
The Pitgate will open at 11:00AM on Sat March 27th with the draw stopping at
2PM.Drivers who check-in after 2PM will be placed at the rear of a
qualifying heat,but will not recieve passing points only heat points.
Hotlaps will start at 2PM with the drivers meeting to follow and Racing
action to start at 3:30PM.Raceceivers are highly recommended.
Grandstand Admission for Adults will be $15 with kids prices 6-12 $5 and 5
and under Free.Grandstand Gates will open around 1:30.
