New Text Messaging Program Announced

WHEATLAND, MO (March 15, 2010) - Lucas Oil Speedway announced today the launch of a new text messaging service that will deliver the latest news, race status, and event information from the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" directly to cell phones and mobile devices. "We have greatly expanded our use of Social Media and of our highly successful email service as we prepare to kick off the 2010 racing season. This is the next step in our efforts to make full use of this type of medium and give our fans additional outlets for information." said Dan Robinson, Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager. "We want our fans to have easy access to information that concerns Lucas Oil Speedway, wherever they may be, and this new service makes it even easier to reach people as they are on the go."

By sending a text message with the keyword "lucasoil" to 313131, fans of Lucas Oil Speedway can sign up to receive the latest information via text message including upcoming events, weather status, and even special text only trivia contests in 2010. Fans and Drivers alike can also sign up for this new service at www.LucasOilSpeedway.com by filling in their name and mobile number on the appropriate form. Drivers can receive special driver only information concerning rules, points, or general race info. Information can be displayed on any type of cell phone or PDA. The service is free to use, although standard carrier charges may apply.

The first Special Event of the 2010 Racing Season at Lucas Oil Speedway gets underway on Saturday April 10th as the Lucas Oil MLRA and the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds blast into the speedway for an early season special.
