Increased Points Fund Announced for the 2010 Season
by: Dan Robinson

WHEATLAND,  MO (March 31 2010) - With the 2010 racing season now only days away, Officials with Lucas Oil Speedway are pleased to announce a new and improved points fund for 2010. The 2010 Track Champions in the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks will each receive a minimum of $2,000, $1,500, and $600 respectively in cash plus an improved contingency program.

The most noticeable difference from past seasons is that all drivers that run at least 70% of the shows in their respective classes are now eligible for Post-Season awards including cash and contingencies. It is required in 2010 that you participate in at least 70% of the available races to be eligible for postseason awards. Events rained out or otherwise canceled shall not count against the requirement for eligibility in the championship point fund.
