Springfield Raceway Back In Action Sat Night-St John's
Employee Night-Racing At 6PM
SPRINGFIELD, MO. (April 27) - Racing action is slated to be back underway
Sat Night May 1st as the Springfield Raceway will be hosting St John's
Employee Night at the races.
All St John's Associates and one immediate family member will recieve Free
Grandstand admission to the action on the quick quarter Sat May
1st.Employees must show Badge ID.
Action will feature the high power of the A-Mods,the ever growing and
popular SportMods,StreetStocks,Legends,the Newly formed MidWest Modz and the
PureStocks.
Pitgates will open at 3PM with the draw cut-off at 5:30.Drivers meeting at
5,Hotlaps at 5:30 and Racing action at 6PM.
Opening night saw over 70 race teams in 5 classes compete with side by side
action all evening long.
Going into the econd leg of the Championship chase for 2010,current points
leader include Springfield's Erik Maggard in the A-Mods, Sean Williams of
Willard in the SportMods, both Tyler Schoen of Brighton and Jack Hamer of
Ava in the StreetStocks, Jay Reynolds of Springfield in the Legends,a tie
between Joplin's Bobby Gough and 14 year old JC Newell of Stoutland in the
MidWest Modz while Springfield's Josh Pinkley has the PureStock lead.
Grandstand Gates open around 4PM with Adult Admission only $10, kids 6-12 $5
and 5 and under Free.
The Speedway will go back to a 7PM Starting time on May 8th when the 360
SprintCars from the Winged Outlaw Warriors and the Lucas Oil Sooner Region
go head to head.
