Mother Nature Wins Again at Lucas Oil Speedway
WHEATLAND, MO (May
15, 2010) - With heavy rains continuing to blanket the region and additional
rain forecasted throughout the day and evening on Saturday, Officials with
Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri have been forced to cancel the
racing action scheduled for Saturday, May 15th. Racing will resume next
Saturday, May 22nd with "Bolivar Herald-Free Press Night at the Races" with
the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and Carson's
Corner Napa Factory Stocks all in action. Lucas Oil Speedway Officials have
also announced that July 24th will now be utilized as a make up night for
one of the "Rockstar Energy Drink Championship Series" events that was lost
this spring due to weather. Please visit

The $600 to win Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stock Special sponored by ALPS
Grocery Stores in Pittsburgh, Missouri that was scheduled for Saturday, May
15th has been moved to next Saturday, May 22nd. The winner of the event will
receive an additional $300 for the win bringing the total to $600, while an
extra $100 will be awarded to the second place finisher and a random
finisher will also receive an extra $100 on the night. Don't miss the top
drivers in the region battle door to door in what promises to be one of the
most exciting races of the season!
The 18th Annual DART Show-Me 100 Presented by Lucas Oil Products is now just
Two (2) short weeks away and reserved tickets are going fast! This year's
DART Show-Me 100 will once again feature the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series and will take place for the first time ever at Lucas Oil Speedway in
Wheatland, Missouri on May 27th-29th, 2010. A limited number of 2-Day
Reserved tickets for the event are still available and can be ordered by
calling the Lucas Oil Speedway office at (417) 282-5984 Monday-Friday from
8am to 5pm. Reserved front stretch seating is priced at $55 for the event.
