Lucas Oil Sprint Bandits Tour 'N Topless This Saturday, June 19th!

WHEATLAND, MO (June 15, 2010) - The Lucas Oil Sprint Bandits Tour 'N Topless 410 Non-Wing Sprint Cars invade the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri this Saturday June 19th in their only appearance of 2010 at the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks." The TNT Quick Shop Late Models and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks will accompany the Sprint Bandits for a full night of high octane racing action on the ultra competitive 3/8 mile Missouri Oval. In addition to the awesome on track racing action, Lucas Oil Speedway is also pleased to welcome the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety and the Missouri National Guard to the speedway this Saturday. The Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety will be featuring their Missouri Highway Patrol "Rollover Simulator" on the Midway while the National Guard will have an H3 Hummer and their Rock Climbing Wall for fans of all ages to enjoy. The Greene County DARE Ride is also set to wrap up at the Lucas Oil Speedway this Saturday, June 19th as an estimated 250+ Motorcyles will be leaving Springfield around 4:00pm and are due to arrive at Lucas Oil Speedway during the 5:00 hour. "There is certainly something here for every one this weekend" stated Track GM Dan Robinson.

Leading the way for the Sprint Bandits this weekend is Forney, Texas' Travis Rilat, who is the series virtual points leader with the initial three TNT events of the 2010 season in the books. Rilat leads a stout cast of contenders into Saturdays' battle that is expected to include the likes of Brady Bacon (Broken Arrow, OK), Robert Ballou (Rocklin, CA), Casey Shuman (Tempe, AZ), Zach Chappell (Talala, OK), Wayne Johnson (Oklahoma City, OK), Matt Sherrell (Owasso, OK) and J.C. Bland (Springfield, IL) among others. Saturday's Main event features a $3,000 winner's share with a minimum of $300 to start the feature event. As was the case with the opening three events of the year, a $500 bonus will be in effect for the top-finishing 360-ci powered competitor each night.

Browning, Missouri's Tommy Cordray sits atop the TNT Quick Shop Late Model Season standings with a 23 point lead over Walnut Grove, Missouri's Jeremy Kelley. Kelley picked up the win on May 22nd as Cordray held on for second. Joe Walkenhorst hailing from Lees Summit, Missouri occupies the third spot, just 44 markers behind the leader. Dustin Walker and Ben Solberg sit in a tie for fourth, 49 points behind Cordray. A strong field of TNT Quick Shop Late Models is expected this weekend after having the last two weekends off to regroup and get their high powered machines ready for racing action at the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks".

Camdenton, Missouri's Kenny Carroll leads the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks with 157 points as Wheatland, Missouri's Chip Shaddox sits in the second spot just 27 points behind Carroll. Fellow Wheatland resident Randy Gilmore holds down the third spot while Republic, Missouri's Burl Woods resides in fourth place in the season long battle for the Championship. Nixa, Missouri's Bradley Gideon joins the top-5 this week just 55 points out of the lead.

Spectator Gates open at 5:00pm this Saturday with Hot Laps set to get under way at 6:30 and the first big race of the night at 7:05pm. Adult Admission at the gate is just $20 with Seniors and Active Military only $15. Juniors (6-15) are just $5 and Kids 5 and under are always FREE at Lucas Oil Speedway. Show Your AAA Membership Card at the gate and receive $3 off any Adult or Senior General Admission Ticket.

Family Passes are priced at only $40 for this event which includes entry for two adults (age 16 and up) and up to three youth (ages 6-15), One Free Slick Track Go-Kart Ride, discounts on kids, meals, gift shop merchandise, and funnel cakes.
