Defending Champion and Current points leader, Tommy Cordray gave it all he had but settled for third at the finish increasing his lead to 49 points over Jeremy Kelley. Jesse Stovall and Shawn Nations led the field to the green flag in the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds with Nations jumping out to the early lead and actually pulling away from Stovall utilizing the top side of the race track. Stovall continued to stalk Nations lap after lap however showing the nose of his Hoffman Race Car to Nations several times before Nations bobbled and handed the lead to Stovall. After that it was all Stovall as he crossed the AAA Start/Finish Line in first place for the seventh consecutive time in 2010.
