WARRENSBURG, MO (September 7) - Fresh off a two-race weekend last Friday and Saturday, Warrensburg’s own Central Missouri Speedway is once again prepping to bring in race fans for another two-night round of the best action in the business!  This weekend, 360 Sprint Cars return to CMS for the first time since 2005 with the ASCS and Winged Outlaw Warriors in a $1,500-to-win shootout of the best in the Midwest and a special tribute to the late-great Jesse Hockett.  Additionally, 600cc Micro Midgets and B-Modifieds will also compete during the race program in full race-night programs.  The guaranteed 360 Sprint Payout is: 1st $1,500 – 2nd 1,000 – 3rd 700 – 4th 600 – 5th 500 – 6th 400 – 7th 350 – 8th 300 – 9th 275 – 10th thru 20th $250.  RR Tire - ASCS Spec Hoosier (16" Medium or Hard) - LR & fronts open Mufflers not required - minimum 1,475 lbs w/driver.  Raceceivers are mandatory; drivers must supply their own raceceiver.  All Friday pit passes are $30; Adult General Admission is $15, Military and College Students w/I.D. $12, Kids’ 13 to 17 $12, Senior Citizens 65+ $12, Kid’s Six to Twelve $10, 5 and under always free!  For complete series information visit the AMERICAN SPRINT CAR SERIES at www.ascs360.com or  www.ascsracing.com and the WINGED OUTLAW WARRIORS at www.wowsprints.homestead.com.

On Saturday, September 11th the 2010 CMS season comes to a close with the Waterloo Storage Products Season Championships in all divisions.  A special “Homes for Our Troops” fundraiser and tribute will take place during the race-night festivities.  CMS has waived its track registration fees for the final night of racing action so drivers can come race with the track and check things out for next year.  There are still plenty of potential point’s battles shaping up for the Mighty Modifieds, ULMA Late Models, Street Stocks, and B-Modifieds with the final night of 2010 to sort out the season-ending point standings.  Normal admission prices are in effect for Saturday with Adults $12, Seniors 65+, Military and College Students w/I.D. $8, Kid’s 13-17 $8, Kids six to twelve $6, and five and under free!

Normal start times apply for both Friday and Saturday night with pit gates opening at 4:30, admission gates swing open at 5, driver’s meeting starts at 6:30, hot laps begin at 7, and racing gets underway at 7:30.  The track is located 3.5-miles north of Warrensburg, MO from the junction of Highways 50 and 13 in Warrensburg or from the Higginsville exit off of I-70, travel south on Highway 13 for twelve miles.  For more information call the Track Report line at (660) 747-2166.  Limited primitive camping is available at the speedway on a first come/first served basis.  For complete Labor Day weekend details, event payouts, point standings, results, and additional general information visit www.centralmissourispeedway.net

A preview of the 20100 CMS schedule is now located on the main page of the CMS website.  At CMS, the action is always close and the show moves along and there are no unnecessary delays in the program.   There are two sides of the speedway to choose from for seating and both include full concessions and restrooms.  The front side features the CMS Hammer Down Bar right off of Hwy 13.  Our pit-side stands (non-alcoholic) are located adjacent to the pit areas for our drivers.  Call the track report line at 660-747-2166 for more information or visit www.centralmissourispeedway.net, for the tentative 2011 race schedule.
