G & G Ozark Motorsports Ceases Operations at Lake Ozark

G & G Ozark Motorsports Inc.
ST. LOUIS (March 1, 2011) – G & G Ozark Motorsports Inc., released the
following statement today: After much consideration, analysis and heartfelt
deliberation, we have decided to cease operations at the dirt track at Lake
Ozark Speedway, effective March 1, 2011.
During the off-season, the Gundakers had hoped to find a buyer or a promoter
to lease the facility for the 2011 season. Owning two facilities has been a
challenge over the past four years. When the track was first purchased, we
did not foresee that our not being there on a daily basis would have such an
impact on the facility. We do not have the opportunity to be a part of the
day-to-day operations throughout the week and have found that in order to do
it right you need to be there from many aspects, including track prep,
maintenance and marketing.
We are currently looking for qualified individuals to lease or purchase the
facility.
