Lebanon Midway To Open Southwest Missouri Stock Car Season With Spring Fling April 1&2nd

LEBANON, MO (March 5, 2011) The Lebanon Midway Speedway will get the Southwest Missouri Stockcar Racing season underway with the running of the 2nd annual Spring Fling on April 1st and 2nd with the 2 day event.

 The racing card will feature B-Mods, Factory Stocks, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and Midwest Modifieds on both days while the exciting high-power of the A-Mods will be running on Sat April 2nd only.

 Friday Nights action will feature qualifying heat races and pole dashes on Friday night to set the fields for the Feature events on Sat Night.

 The B-Mod and FactoryStock winners will pocket $750 each while the StreetStock winner will take home $400 while the Midwest Modz winner will grab a $300 payday with the PureStock winner taking home $250.

 THe High-horepower of the A-Mods on Sat Night will host Time Trials along with qualifying heats and a feature event with $500 going to the winner.

 Last seasons Spring Fling champions were Tyson Troutman of houston(factoryStocks),Colt Cheevers of Macks Creek(B-Mods),Joe Francos of Lebanon(StreetStocks),Grant Sharp of Conway(PureStocks) and Little JC Newell of Stoutland(Midwest Mods).

 This event drew over 80 entries last season as rain shortened it to a 1 day event only.

 Pitpasses will be $30 each night with no car entry fee.

 Grandstand admission
will be $10 for Adults on Friday Night and $15 on Sat Night while kids 10 and under are Free.

 Friday night action will start at 8PM while action is slated to start around 7:30 for Sat Night.

 In case of a Friday Night weather cancellation the event will be run on Sat with 50% payout to the classes except the A-Mods.
