Midway Back In Action

LEBANON, MO (April 13, 2011) - The Central Chase for the Championship continues Friday Night at the Lebanon Midway Speedway after week number 1 was put into the record books and action is going to be tight all season long.

 Going into this weekend's event on Friday Night tack point leaders are James Flood(Central Bank FactoryStocks) by only 1 point over last seasons champion Tyson Troutman while Nixa's Brad gideon rides only 2 points out of the top spot. By winning last weeks feature,Flood will be starting back in the pack.

 Shawn Strong holds a 3 point margin over defending Aaron's modified champion Michael stake while the battle for third is tight as Spring Fling winner JC Morton,Veteran JC Newell and second year driver Tommy McBride are within 1 marker of each other.

 Defending Energy Company Purestock champion Kory Barker of Lebanon holds a 4 point margin over Monk Barker and Doug Phelps while Elijah Keepper,Robert Doublin and Matt Young are all within 1 point of each other.

 In the Transport Graphic StreetStocks there is a new leader on top of the board as last weeks winner Mark Simon of Buffalo holds a 3 point lead over 2 time and defending titlest Joe Francis while Brandon Waters is only 5 behind and Lebanon's Trevor Ellingson only 6 back.

 Defending Rocky Ridge Construction champ Little JC Newell of Stoutland will find competition tough this season.After winning last week Newell holds a 3 point lead over Rich Reynolds while Joplin's Bobby Gough,Sam Petty and Bill Joiner following along with Shane Bias.

 Gates open at 5 while practice starts at 7:05 and racing at 8PM sharp.
