Week #2 of the Rockstar Energy Drink Championship Series This
Saturday, April 23rd!
WHEATLAND, MO (April 19, 2011) - After a wild Season Opener of the Rockstar
Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series last Saturday, the Stars and Cars of
the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and Carson's
Corner Napa Factory Stocks are ready for week #2 of high octane side by side
dirt track racing action this Saturday, April 23rd.
El Dorado Springs, Missouri's Larry Jones leads the early points standings
in the TNT Quick Shop Late Models after his opening night win last Saturday
over Odessa, Missouri's Steven Clancy. Defending Track Champion Tommy
Cordray sits in the third spot just four points behind Jones. Neosho,
Missouri's Chris Hawkins holds down the fourth spot while Greenfield's Rylan
Long occupies the fifth position.
In the Pitt's A-Modifieds, Archie, Missouri's Tim Setzer has opened up a 21
point lead after two nights of racing action. Chase Jones, son of Late Model
Point Leader Larry Jones sits in the second spot while former Track Champion
Jamie Ragland out of Lebanon, Missouri holds down the third position just
three points behind Jones. Laquey, Missouri's David Hendrix and
Waynesville's Josh Woody round out the Top-5 in fourth and fifth
respectively.
Derek Brown leads the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stock contingent into
battle this weekend with 2010 Track Champion Randy Gilmore hot on his heels
in the second spot just two points out of first. Clever's Steve Morton is
only five points behind the leader in third with Marshfield's Tim Jones in
fourth followed by Michael Plummer in fifth.

Gates open at 5:00pm on Saturday with Hot Laps at 7:00 and racing set to get
underway at 7:30pm. Adult Admission is just $12 with Seniors and Active
Military only $8. Juniors (6-15) are only $5 and kids 5 and under are always
FREE at Lucas Oil Speedway.
Family Passes are priced at only $25 for this event which includes entry for
two adults (age 16 and up) and up to three youth (ages 6-15), discounts on
kids meals, gift shop merchandise, and funnel cakes. A limited number of VIP
Suites are also still available for Saturday night and start at only $300
for a 12 guest unit which includes admission for 12, One Complimentary Food
Tray off the Suite Menu, and (2) Six Packs of your choice of Water, Soda, or
