Lucas Oil POWRi Midgets Mid-State Missouri Nationals
at Lucas Oil Speedway this Saturday, April 30th!
WHEATLAND, MO (April 26, 2011) - The Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series
invades the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri this Saturday, April
30th for the Inaugural Missouri Mid-State Midget Nationals! The TNT Quick
Shop Late Models and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks will also be in

Tempe, Arizona's Casey Shuman won the last time the POWRi National Midget
Series visited the Lucas Oil Speedway on May 17th, 2008. The Top-10 in the
Lucas Oil POWRi Season Point Standings include Current Lucas Oil POWRi
National Midget Series Point Leader Nick Knepper followed by Tim Siner,
Dereck King, Andrew Felker, Brad Kuhn, Shane Cockrum, Rich Camfield, Tyler
Robbins, Zach Daum, and Dave Darland. Local favorites Rusty Dukes and Pat
Shudy have also made plans to be in attendance this Saturday. For more

Gates open at 5:00pm on Saturday with Hot Laps at 7:00 and racing set to get
underway at 7:30pm. Adult Admission is just $17 with Seniors and Active
Military only $12. Juniors (6-15) are only $5 and kids 5 and under are
always FREE at Lucas Oil Speedway.
Family Passes are priced at only $40 for this event which includes entry for
two adults (age 16 and up) and up to three youth (ages 6-15), discounts on
kids meals, gift shop merchandise, and funnel cakes. A limited number of VIP
Suites are also still available for Saturday night and start at only $425
for a 12 guest unit which includes admission for 12, One Complimentary Food
Tray off the Suite Menu, and (2) Six Packs of your choice of Water, Soda, or

El Dorado Springs, Missouri's Larry Jones leads the early points standings
in the TNT Quick Shop Late Models after his opening night win last Saturday
over Odessa, Missouri's Steven Clancy. Defending Track Champion Tommy
Cordray sits in the third spot just four points behind Jones. Neosho,
Missouri's Chris Hawkins holds down the fourth spot while Greenfield's Rylan
Long occupies the fifth position.
Derek Brown leads the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stock contingent into
battle this weekend with 2010 Track Champion Randy Gilmore hot on his heels
in the second spot just two points out of first. Clever's Steve Morton is
only five points behind the leader in third with Marshfield's Tim Jones in
fourth followed by Michael Plummer in fifth.
