MOTHER NATURE WINS AGAIN !!

FARMINGTON, MO - (April 30) - For the second time in two weeks. The Lady has brought rain to St Francois County Raceway.

A misty feeling was in the air as the track crews began their work to prepare the facility for the night.  Race cars were brought onto the racing surface to help dry out the surface.  During the process the skies opened up for a short shower.  The conversation turned to the track crew.  It was determined that in order to get the track in racing condition, would take at least three hours.  The first race would not be started before 10:00 pm and a conclusion time in the very early hour of the morning.  The decision came to cancel the event for the evening.

Armbands and ticket stubs are good for the next two shows.  This for the people who already bought their passes and tickets for this night.  If you did not attend, next Saturday will be $5 Night in the grandstands.  Grandstand admission will be $5.00, children who are with a paying adult and under the age of 12 will be admitted free.  Pit Passes are $25.00

In competition will be the full power of 410 Winged Sprints, A & B Modifieds and Pure Streets.  Gates open at 4:00.  Hot Laps at 6:00 and racing to follow.  More information is available on the track website, www.sfcr-online.com.  While at the track tune you FM Radio to 101.7
