LEBANON, MO - (May 10, 2011) - The chase for the championship keeps rolling in high gear Friday Night at the Lebanon Midway Speedway in the Central Bank Racing Series Action in 5 classes of cars. Current point leader and defending champion Michael Stake leads the Aaron's Sales and Rentals Modifieds with a 13 point lead over Shawn Strong of Republic. stake who won a last lap dramatic feature last weekend finds the competition getting tigher each week. Strong who won the season opener is always that threat to win as Veteran JC Newell of Decaturville has moved into the third spot with Tommy McBride and Tony Moore in the top 5. James Flood leads the Factory Stock class but only with a 16 point lead over hard-charging Sundance Keepper. Josh Franklin, defending champion Tyson Troutman and newcomer Shawn Whitman complete the top 5. Lebanon's Monk Barker has taken over the PureStock point lead with a 12 marker lead over defending champion Kory Barker.Monk who won his first ever feature last Friday Night finds tough competiton as Kolt Barker,Matt Young and Shorty Doublin complete the top 5. Defending Midwest Modz champion Little JC Newell of Stoutland sets on top of the point standings with a narrow 5 point lead over Rich Reynolds.Reynolds has been consistant this season as Newell has 2 feature wins so far.Bill Joiner,Earl Muilenburg and Sam Petty complete the top 5. Joe Francis leads the StreetStock class by only 7 points over last weeks winner Brandon Waters.Trevor Ellingson,Rodney Yost and Bill Waters round out the top 5. This week the fans get a chance to greet and meet the drivers as an on track autograph session will be held at intermission.This allows the fans a chance to get up close and personel with the drivers. Gates open at 5,Hotlaps are at 7:05 and Racing at 8PM Sharp. Grandstand admission is only $10 for Adults,Juniors(8-15) are $5 and kids under 8 are Free.
