Dixon, Wray, The Anderson Brothers, Keuhn and Baumli fly to
wins at I-35!

WINSTON, MO (June 4, 2011) - Colby Dixon from
Jamesport Missouri finally got that win that had eluded him this season.
Dixon took home the IMCA Modified make up feature from May 21st. Dixon held
off Cory Wray who won last week, Wray finshed second with Darren Shaw, Perry
Milbourn and Rick Spriggs close behind. Shaw won the hard charger award.
In the regular IMCA Modified feature Cory Wray of
Jamesport Missouri worked his way around Rick Spriggs to pick up his second
win in two weeks. Wray ran down Spriggs and passed him with 3 to go to motor
to the win. Spriggs held on to second, Todd Wilson third, Shay Woods fourth
and Perry Milbourn fifth. Jim Cameron got the hard charger award driving the
26s for Steven Glenn.
Greg Keuhn of Trenton took home his second straight
win and his fourth overall tonight in the IMCA Hobby Stocks. It was a three
car battle late with Keuhn battling Billie Hoover and David Willey. Keuhn
eventually pulled away and the top five was swarmed by Trenton Missouri
drivers. Hoover held on for second with Trenton drivers David Willey and
Alexis Whitney third and fourth joining Keuhn in the top five. Lee Farmer
came home fifth. Keuhn also took home another hard charger award.
Jason Anderson of Kansas City took home his second
straight Grand National win tonight. Anderson took the lead when Mike Ryun
lost a motor and had a battle with Mike Taylor Jr. Travis Walker took home
second followed by Dean Wray, Mike Taylor Jr. and Mike Ryun. Anderson also
took the hard charger.
In the IMCA Stock Car division it was another driver
taking home his second straight win. Kevin Anderson, brother of Jason
Anderson got by Bennie Turner for the win. Anderson was followed across the
line by Gene Stigall, Josh Steele, Brad Whitney and Jon Boller III. Stigall
took home some hardware as he won the hard charger award.
JJ Baumli broke the streak of drivers winning two in
a row as he roared to his second win of 2011 in his IMCA Sport Mod. Baumli
went by Chris Wright for the win. Baumli had to hold off Jeff Stotts to get
the win. Stotts was second, Chirs Wright third, Ben Stockton after an early
yellow had to pit, came back out and restarted 24th and came thorught the
field for fourth and Brad Dittemore was fifth. Mark Hunziger won the hard
charger award.
Tonight was the voting for the Super Six Showdown
for the Sport Mods next week. The leading vote getters were Paige Leppin,
Jeff Stotts, Wes Bestgen, Clay Hale, Chris Wright and Blake Peeler.
Alternates are JJ Baumli, Duke Jacobs and Mike Tanner. Super Six Showdown is
