Clay County Engine Rebuilders open night at I-35 Speedway
by: Phillip Wilson - I-35 Speedway Announcer/PR

WINSTON, MO (September 6, 2011) - Every year while the IMCA Supernationals are occurring, I-35 Speedway strives to put on a show for our race fans and racers, even though IMCA points will not be earned. This Saturday night September 10th, like the previous four seasons, I-35 Speedway will have their non-points non-IMCA sanctioned open show.

Additionally, this year we added the Midwest Outlaw Vintage Racers.   Open night doesn't mean put on a wing or some other object on your racecar, it just means bring your track rules and come compete and have fun.  This is a golden opportunity for those desiring to compete at the Show Me Spectacular to come test their cars and get them set up for the season ending show. For more information on the Show Me Spectacular please visit our website www.i-35speedway.net.

After this week there are still two IMCA nights drivers can earn points in the great point’s battles we have shaping up before Championship night on September 24th. Make plans to see our 2011 season ending McCarthy Auto Group Show Me Spectacular; $1,500 to win the Sport Mod/B-Mod division, $750 to win the Stock Car division and $500 to win the Hobby Stock division. This is a two day show that begins on Friday, September 30th and ends on Saturday, October 1st. Be sure to see all the action I-35 Speedway has left of the 2011 racing season!!!
